Transform your car's regular engine sounds into those of a renowned sports car using your Wi-Fi OBD adapter, such as the ELM327, paired with your iPhone or iPad. Attain an unparalleled auditory experience by connecting your smartphone or tablet to your car's audio system via an AUX cable, Bluetooth headset, or FM transmitter. This innovative app operates by reading real-time ECU data and recreating a customizable engine sound, complete with optional turbocharger sound effects. The app even offers a demo mode for trying out sounds without the OBD adapter.
To optimize the performance of your Wi-Fi OBD adapter, follow these steps:
- Connect the adapter to your car's OBDII port and turn on the ignition.
- Establish a Wi-Fi connection with the adapter.
- Using a web browser, enter the network adapter address (e.g., http://192.168.0.10) in the address bar.
- When prompted for credentials, enter admin/000000 or admin/admin.
- In the admin panel, locate the setting for Serial Framing Timeout (or similar) and set a value between 1-10. Save the changes and reconnect the adapter to your vehicle.
